An upgrade from my prior computer which was bought in 2016. Very fast, great screen, keys are well placed with an excellent tactile experience.
The only issues I've face is I had an issue with the webcam shutting off. There is a webcam switch on top of the screen which was not apparent to me.
The power button is located in the row of function keys. I would have preferred this to be more of a stand-alone more prominent location

This laptop is very fast. I like the quietness of it but there are a few small items such as no internal DVD player. I am also still getting used to Windows 11 but that is not an HP issue. Overall, I like the laptop though not as well as my previous Pavillon.

Drawbacks to this laptop and other HP laptops

Beware that this laptop only has 2 USB ports, no DVDROM drive, and no Ethernet. If you need any of these things you would need to buy a USB hub for more ports, an external DVDROM drive, and an external Ethernet adapter. Also, HP laptops no longer allow the battery to be replaced when it dies, so the laptops will become virtually unusable after a few years.
