I bought this for my 6 year old nephew...after a few quick lessons he was able to operate it himself .

The drone is good and has some fun features like follow me and orbit. However, the range is not that far, and you could overestimate it as the range with the wifi camera is only about 250 feet. Be cautious when flying the drone high up when it gets to low battery, as my experience with it is when it is high in the sky and goes to low battery, the range seems to decrease, and it becomes less responsive at such heights. If this happens to you and the drone is not responsive in the air, click the return to home button. The drone will rise into the sky and land where it took off but be sure that you won't crash into any trees.
Another note that I would like to make: I crashed the drone into a tree about 70 feet in the air because the drone got to low battery mode and it became unresponsive. It stayed in the tree for about a month, and when it finally came down, it was fine. The propellers were fine, the only problems were that it was dirty, and two bolts got a little rusty. I tested it and it worked fine, including the battery.
Be sure to keep an eye on the battery level when you use the app on your phone, and land it when it gets close to 30% battery. This is what the drone considers low battery, and the controller will start beeping. There are too many good things that I can say about this drone in this one review, as this is my first camera drone and it is outstanding for its price.

Looks cool but my partner and I spent a couple of hours trying to figure out how to use this — little instructions included. It worked for a bit and then we couldn’t get it to take off again — ended up returning it. It’s possible we just couldn’t figure it out but I really don’t think it should be THAT difficult and there should be clear and concise instructions — I wonder if we got a defective piece. Anyway not for us

I just bought this drone it taking pictures but not recording videos, I tried pressing video icon on the app but still nothing. can anyone please tell me how to record videos on this particular drone?
