Not worth it even for a starter drone

I read and followed all the instructions on how to set up, calibrate and get ready to fly. First time launching the drone, immediately flew back at me and upon further inspection seemed like one of the rear motors was weak or broken? Not sure how to resolve or fix this but it’s a shame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
