Moderately effective but expensive

The PURO air filter seems to work well - my husband’s morning sneezing attacks have lessened. That being said, I have some complaints: first, the filter doesn’t last long and it’s expensive to replace and the only way to do that easily is using the app. In the ordering process they make it hard and expensive to order a single filter - it is set to force you to subscribe. No, thank you! . Second, the nighttime setting has a light that cannot be turned off - I don’t want lots of glowing blue light in our bedroom at night. Third, the air filter app is unnecessary and annoying - why must everything be connected to WiFi these days? I don’t want to control it with my phone. I would prefer a timer on the unit itself so I can set up day and night settings and then forget about it...
