Great quality! I got this multi-tool a while ago. I was looking for something that was small, compact, not too bulky, and didn’t have a ton of tools that I didn’t need. This tool is perfect! It works like a dream, and has already gotten me out of a handful of binds. It’s become my primary EDC tool.
An effective EDC. I usually carry my favority SOG lockblade (Escape), but this EDC serves me better for an less obvious at work or for business casual affairs. I've already used it once to fix a loose nut on the fly in a setting where nobody is expected to have any sort of tool on them. I will continue to carry the larger lockblade when out and about in the woods etc...
One of the biggest problem I have is if I am using the pliers it is real easy to unlock the knife and it jumps out. About every time I squeeze the handles I have to reset the knife. Not very safe.
I have worn out 2 or 3 reactors. I have several other multi tools too, however I carry a reactor every day because of the deep pocket clip in dress pants. As an engineer a daily carry is awesome, but a deep pocket clip is paramount. If SOG would just put a decent Phillips blade next to the flat one they added and drop the whole bit thing they would have the best small dress pants carry tool! Thanks for adding the flat screwdriver bit though, that keeps me from using the blade as a straight screwdriver. The pocket clip on the Flash is quite a bit cheaper feeling and looking than the one on the reactor, but it works. Hopefully SOG will catch on and add a decent Phillips bit, then it would be perfect for light duty daily carry! I would also go back the the better deep pocket clip of the reactor.
The best part about this multi tool to that it can actually fit inside your pocket with a large smart phone. It's small enough that it does not get in the way and you will end up forgetting you have it at all. Even though it is small it's still very useful and well made.
The blade lock is really nice too. My only complaint is that you'll end up inadvertently turning the blade lock off while useing the pliers from time to time
