Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 months ago because I am a home baker and wore out my 2 small kitchen aid mixers. I really loved them and was so excited to get the bigger one...what a disappointment. I have only used it 3 times because I greatly dislike it! The attachments do not go to the bottom of the bowl, no matter how it is adjusted. It is so ineffective at mixing in the lower portion of the bowl, it is pretty much useless. The bowl is very hard to get on and off without making a mess. It is so frustrating and disappointing. I would love to trade it in for another small one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement unit because the gremlins broke off the attachment part of my old one. And then tried to fix it with superglue! Needless to say I needed a new one. Love it just as much as my old one. Recommend this one for everyone who loves to bake/cook!

But I am so glad I got this because as I get older, mixing up some of that dough gets pretty hard to do. This makes it a breeze. A very worthwhile purchase that I hope will last me for years to come.

First time user of a Kitchen Aid mixer

I have used it to make banana bread (twice) , coffee cake , peanut butter cookies and creme brulee which I have never even thought of making. I'm 69 years old and am enjoying my mixer. Going to order attachments for pasta and meat grinding.
