Still Getting To Know You

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still getting use to this mixer. I had a Kitchen Aid mixer for 25 years and decided to upgrade to the 6 quart bowl mixer. It is quite different from my previous Kitchen Aid. Honestly I do not see much difference from my previous mixer. You still have to scrap the bowl, a lot, to make sure everything is mixed. It is powerful and does do a decent job on whipping cream. Still getting use to attaching and detaching the bowl. I made 10 different types of Christmas Cookies and two out of three members of my family loved them and my daughter said they were not as good as last year. Was this baker or mixer error? Still deciding.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this 6 qt KitchenAid mixer because I have started making bread and my smaller KitchenAid jumped around all the time. This size is great for making bread.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a beautiful machine. It functions but I don’t think the paddles go down as far as they should. With the older style you could adjust it so it hit correctly. I don’t see that option with this newer model. I also think the paddles are difficult to change because the head does not tip back. You have to try to wiggle it out in the bowl or take the bowl out and make a mess.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the convenience but I don’t love the way the bowl attaches to the mixer. Other than that it works fantastically and is easier to clean than I thought!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my purchase. The stand mixer is easy to use and makes cooking and baking more efficient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warning; using this machine is addictive and may cause you to spiral out of control making all kinds of new foods and recipes. Purchased about 6 weeks ago to make pizza dough, now I have graduated into making cookies, biscuits, all kinds of bread, shredding cheese, shredded meat with my mixer’s paddle (easiest and best thing ever). My wife thinks I’m a little crazy now but I’m really enjoying my new cooking hobby, all thanks to my kitchen aid mixer!
