Very versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Greatest investment I ever made. I have been using a hand mixer for years, My KitchenAid 6 has taken all of the hassle out of the job. Easy clean up is another great feature. Wish that I had purchased my mixer years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Kitchen mixer about 2 months ago. I love to bake and to have this machine do all the kneading for me, is absolutely wonderful. I make a lot of sandwich loaves and coffee cakes etc. It used to be a chore to do all the kneading by hand, but not any more. I should have bought it a long time ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had previously owned a KitchenAid mixer which I loved, but wished the bowl was a bit deeper and wanted the bowl lift type instead of the tilt head. (I worked in a restaurant for 20 years 12 years ago, which had the bowl lift type, and I used it every day and loved it.) This new one is a disappointment. It seems to be more flimsily made, (not the quality one I remember using) but most importantly, the beater doesn't reach the whole bowl surface. Not cool. I spent a lot of money on it because I wanted to display it on my newly renovated kitchen counter (in addition to using it often). I am not impressed at all with the new one. Such a shame to screw up such a great product.

The One Appliance I Will Always Need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this model for close to 30 years. I was very pleased all these years as it is a workhorse and everything comes out beautifully. My new machine is much quieter. I absolutely love the scraper paddle, as it makes things come together so much more quickly. This is one happy baker!
