Just purchased my second arc 5 thinking my previous arc 5 was about done . As it turns out, the new one is about the same, so it may be the end of the line of my 25 year relationship with Panasonic electric razors as it now misses the soft gray hairs on my neck and upper lip. Looks like it’s back to a straight razor for this old guy and

I replaced my Braun 5 with the ARC 5. It cuts much better, probably due to the higher power output of the razor. The battery doesn't last quite as long but then again it's putting out notiecably more power. Anyway I would recommend.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He used it right away after opening it and was impressed by how smooth his skin felt. It has a lower pitch than his previous electric razor, which he really likes. I plan to order several replacement blades because I know he will be using this for many years. Japanese products are known for their durability, just like my electric rice cooker!
