This is my second Panasonic shaver, the first having finally succumbed to battery death after many years of use. Between the 2, I had reverted back to my old Mach III until my old shaky hands made it too risky to use a blade anymore. So I'm having to go thru the whole beard/shaver adjustment again but this Panasonic shaver is as good as I remember my first one. I'm getting a nice close wet shave which is also comfortable. We've never owned a bad Panasonic product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This razor is of high quality, and cuts very close, very comfortably. Nice features in terms of being able to clean and avoid odor. Two cutters make the process go more quickly.

I ordered this on a deal a few weeks ago. I had a 10 year old ARC3 that performed pretty well, but getting replacement foils and blades was nearly as expensive as a new shaver.
The ARC 5 was on a deal so I figured I'd try it. I'm glad I did.
I have been shaving with an electric razor for over 40 years, and this is by far the best I have used.
It's as good as the results I have had touching up with a blade razor. The charge only takes one hour and it lasts for 2 weeks with no problems. I have also had some high end Braun shavers in the past, which are more $$$. This new Panasonic outperforms any of those at a fraction on the price.

Very comfortable and balanced in the hand. This shaver is very good at getting a clean surface but requires multiple passes and pressure. Mutch better than the competition but not as good as a traditional blade. my neck is easily irritated by the foil blade system if I use it daily. The head is larger than the competition for quicker coverage of face, neck, and head (which I shave) but its hard to do facial detailing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Panasonic ARC5 Advanced ens Electric razor is great. I chose this one for my son specifically. Gentle on his teenage skin, has an easy to maneuver pivoting head, 5 blade system for a close shave and super impressive that it can run for 45 mins. He has about 4 different razors, but feels he gets a really nice close shave with this one. It’s not really Lou d and obnoxious either.
