Not as advanced as promised

I have owned and used a ES8243 wet/dry shaver for years. The battery is worn and will not hold a charge for long. So instead of replacing the battery along with the blades and foil I figured the cost would exceed the the purchase of a new shaver. But in all truth this old shaver is superior to the new one. Yes the ARC5 has more cutting heads, but it does not shave any closer or faster than my old one. The ES8243 was so superior to the Norelco and Braun at the time that I was amazed that I could get a shave with an electric razor as good or better then a safety razor. I’ll keep and use the ARC5 but it’s not any better then my old Panasonic.

Fourth one

This is my fourth or fifth Panasonic wet/dry shaver. I have owned Braun and Norelco/Philips shavers in the past, though not the wet-dry kind (if they even make them), and this one easily outperforms them. Closer shave all around.

Lg new W/D Razor

Based on only using the razor for about 4 days, I am getting a close shave and the razor is easy to clean while I am in the shower. I think the only item missing is a small cleaning brush that I have received with my past Panasonic W/D razors.
