different mixing hook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second kitchen aid 6 quart bowl stand mixer. I gave it a 4 star because I do not like the mixing hook. It does not fully pick up all of the flour at the bottom of the bowl. My older model has a different shape hook(sort of like a letter C) and its perfect.

Getting to know you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used my new mixer only a few times and am liking it but it is an adjustment from the smaller classic I had for 30 years! The speed control seems to have small variation jumps which is nice to get it just right. The clip in bowl takes some practice to master a smooth technique but I think I will adapt and like it. I just made a cake this week and noticed an area on the bottom of the bowl that doesn’t seem to be getting mixed so I will need to make some adjustments. Right now we are still in the get to know you phase which, after a 30 year relationship will take a little adjusting but I hope it’s the beginning of another 30 years with KitchenAid!

Love my new KitchenAid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new KitchenAid mixer. My old one was not big enough for my pizza dough recipes, but this new one takes the dough (LOL, see what I did there) when making dough and any other confectionery recipes.
