Not a workhorse like me old machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love kitchenaid. I recently upgraded to a larger kitchenaid and it is sluggish and isn’t as sturdy as my previous one. I have used my older machine for about 30 years and absolutely love it. I don’t think the new one will last that long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Choosing a different model next time

Con: It's a struggle to get the bowl to fit on/click in every. single. time. Next time I would buy the model where the bowl twists onto the stand and the mixer tilts up.

Not as durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd one of these that I have purchased and I have to say it is not as nice as the older ones. Everything is lighter, not as heavy of a bowl, and the attachments. Seems to do a good job mixing.

Kitchen Aid Workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Years ago we bought a 4.5qt Kitchen Aid stand mixer. It was a great kitchen tool. Used frequently with great results.
Our move to another state and the mixer was damaged by movers. Not destroyed but could use refurbishing.
Rather than refurbishing the old one we opted for a bigger 6qt Kitchen Aid. This thing is a beast and a workhorse.
I would recommend this to a friend!
