It’s alright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a Christmas present for myself since I had always wanted one. After I took it out of the box and put on the counter I was disappointed as to how big and HEAVY it was. I bought a rolling stand for it to move back and forth on the counter and that only made it taller and it now touches my under cabinet lighting. I haven’t used it yet and frankly I am wondering why I really wanted it in the first place after seeing the size of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this one to replace my old one and so happy with the larger capacity, improved dough hook operation and overall usability. I’ve made a handful of breads, rolls, cakes, cookies, whipped cream and all have exceeded the performance of my last kitchen aid mixer.

Manual is lousy, but machine is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a Christmas gift from my daughter and was excited to try it out. I was very disappointed that there was so little information in the "manual." I learned quite by accident - and almost broke the machine in the process - that the bowl needs to be seated/locked in before turning on the motor. The knob on the front for attachments also fell off and landed in my dough, but thankfully I was standing right there and could immediately turn it off. Aside from not having adequate instructions, I've been very happy. I'd also like to mention that this machine is quite heavy. I have it on a shelf that's about 4' high, so it's a bit of a challenge for me to lift it up to get it there for storage, and to remove it for use.
