Does the job very well but unintuitive design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for Christmas and have enjoyed using it. I did fi d it clunky to get the bowl on and off and still do at times. I also find it a bit challenging to change the attachments but love the rest.
I would recommend this to a friend!

New generation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Understand that my previous KitchenAid mixer was 45 years old, it was probably time for a new model. The stronger motor and bigger bowl are going to cut my Christmas baking time in half. It doesn’t strain with cold butter, and it still fits cozily in my appliance garage on my countertop. It will outlive me, and that’s a good thing.

Upgrade to 6 qt. stand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Kitchen Aid mixer for over 40 years and needed one with a bit more capacity. The 6 qt. mixer eureka perfectly for my needs. It is more powerful and better speed control, which I like very much. I love this new mixer as much our more than my old one, that served me so well. My only complaint is the plastic pouring shield does not fit properly in the bowl. It is slightly smaller than the diameter of the bowl and warped. Not sure how to remedy that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 70s Oster motor died and got this for Christmas. Did a great job handling chocolate chips, holds more quantity. But, the bowl can't be microwaved, is clunky to move off the stand, can't fit enough room to pour ingredients from a measuring cup in when bowl is affixed, three times as heavy to move into position, and is too tall to fit on my pantry shelves. Haven't found a plastic cover yet to keep dust out when not in use. I guess there are no perfect units on the market anymore. I miss the Oster, even if I have to mix the chips in by hand to prevent the clunks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
