Don’t purchase this one. Not worth it. Bad design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this about 2 months ago and I really don’t like it. It doesn’t mix to the bottom of the bowl so I always have a bunch of flour or sugar at the bottom that isn’t mixed in even when I mix on high speed. Also, it is so NOT intuitive or even remotely easy to get the bowl on the stand since you’re supposed to put the raised metal protrusion on the back of the bowl into the “hole” in the back and then place the bowl on the left and right of the stand. You basically have to FORCE it into position and it is soooo hard it’s actually ridiculous and causing me total stress every time I use the mixer (which is a lot)! I hate this thing, it really was designed very poorly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the "industrial" feel of this mixer. It's very heavy. I actually think I could use it to mix cement! My only small complaint is that it takes a bit of practice to get the bowl in the back notch.

Bought another kitchen aide same kind and am happy

Now I purchased another 6 qt. mixer to replace the one I had. I am still very happy with its performance and hope that it will serve me for another several years.
