Also the paddle chipped after 1st use.
I reached out to KitchenAid by email but heard nothing back.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I recently got into making sourdough bread (and pizza, and naan bread, etc), and wanted to get a stand mixer that could handle bread dough. The machine is magical. We use it at least twice per week and it has completely eliminated the 'mess' of making dough (no more sticky fingers). We've made a couple of batches of cookies, also fantastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!
