About one month ago, my old kitchen aid “died”, and within a week I had a new one! They are the best mixers and I didn’t consider anything else! Merry Christmas to me..my new one is working fabulously and I love it!!

I was very impressed with the ease and quantity of dough that I could make in this machine and it worked just as well as if I was making one batch of dough!

Mixed Feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Several pros and cons - Cons - difficult to scrape down sides without removing bowl, difficult to insert wire whisk once bowl is in place, unable to adjust bowl height so that whisk just misses the bottom/sides of bowl,
Pros - wide selection of operating speeds, plastic chute makes adding ingredients while mixer is running less messy

Questioning if my machine is working properly. . .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My machine overheated while mixing bread dough under seemingly normal circumstances. It was a larger batch of sourdough, but I don't think the machine should have overheated. After unplugging the machine and letting it rest, it seemingly functioned properly while making waffle batter.

Great mixer with great volume

The mixer is really great and I love that it does larger size dough with a powerful enough motor.
My only complaint is that the beater blade that is supposed to scrape the side of the bowl does not work well at all. I have to keep scraping the bowl where in my old 5 quart lift mixer does this really well. I guess that is really a first world problem though.

Speedy!

I've had my mixer for one year. I really like how quickly it whips cream! I have more recently been using it for sourdough bread and have found that if there is more than four cups of flour in the bread dough the mixer just can't handle it. It works well for cookie dough and smaller bread dough recipes.
