So far we are loving our Casabrews 3700 Essential. There is always a learning curve with any new machine but we are enjoying the process. Take the plunge and enjoy your favorite coffee drinks from home!
This is our first what I would call, 'professional coffee machine'. We changed from a pod machine, after wanting a more involved coffee experience. Waste was an issue also, with throwing away all those used plastic pods. My wife spent a while on researching different machines and settled on the 3700 due to cost, design and looks. It's taken a while to get used to the machine, (and we're still finding how to brew a good coffee) as coffee making is certainly a bit of an art form however, what we've found is that the machine is great. It makes nice creamy espresso, frothy milk and we're involved in the whole coffee making experience. There's a few niggles. Like the coffee grounds being impacted in the brewing cup after brewing. Locking the cup in place and the steamer can be intermittent. These aren't deal breakers, just niggles. Overall its a good, and fit for purpose beginners machine. We'll done Casabrews
Easy to set up. Easy to use. I use LaVazza super creama beans and this machine pulls a lovely drink from them. Only tricky part is it’s not so easy to empty out the used grinds. Usually I just bang the cup up against my compost bin and grinds fall out, but that’s not doing the trick. A minor issue really. I’m sure i’ll figure out a way arouond it. Overall I highly recommend this machine for the price point and size.
This was a nice machine. However, we needed a machine that would brew four shots at a time. For one or two brews, lonce we had run through practice runs, we were able to brew some very nice coffee. We did notice that removing grounds from the one brew cup provided was a bit tricky. You needed to dig the grounds out while still wet. If you delayed, they were hard as a brick and would not tap out. We did like the feature that allowed us to set the volume of shots and that the machine then would prew exactly that much on following brewing cycles. At times, it was very difficult to get the brew cup set it place and the handle was difficult to lock in;. I found out that for some reason this was when there were, for whatever reason, wet grounds from the previous brew stuck above the latching area. Overall, a good machine, just not the one we needed. This is not a review for publication, just for the dealer/manufacturer's use. Thanks.
