Excellente imprimante pour la maison. Le seul point négatif, c'est que l'imprimante n' imprime pas recto verso. Il faut remettre la feuille dans l'imprimante pour faire la copie verso. Mais sera très économique pour l'encre puisque ce sont des bouteilles d'encre. Je ne regrette pas mon achat.

Disappointing with every print.....

The printer was easy to unpack and set up physically, but unfortunately that's where the positives ended for me.
The online setup instructions were poorly designed and difficult to follow. Instead of clear step-by-step guidance, Canon relied on what felt like a series of rapidly changing flashcards or animations. For a product aimed at everyday consumers, I expected much clearer instructions, or even a simple demonstration video showing the process.
The print quality was also disappointing. Color prints appeared extremely faded, almost as if someone had erased much of the ink from the page. Images lacked vibrancy, detail, and the richness I would expect from a color printer.
On top of that, the printer operates very slowly, making even basic printing tasks take longer than they should.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic colour printer & scanner

This is an excellent, high quality colour printer and scanner. The setup was fairly easy. It has separate ink holders for each of the 4 colours (black, cyan, yellow and magenta) so you only have to refill a specific colour when it runs out, rather than using those ridiculous tri-colour cartridges. Each ink tank lasts for thousands of prints, depending on what you are printing, of course. It's also relatively easy to refill the ink - you just have to be careful not to spill it.
The image quality is amazing. I printed out a high quality image on glossy paper and it looks as good as a commercial printer.
The scanner is also excellent, much quieter than my last one.
It has a faxing function also, but who faxes these days? Still, nice to have.
Although you can print wirelessly to it, I'd recommend using a USB connection if you can: it's much faster and more stable.
Overall, an excellent, compact printer.

This printer gives me most of what I'm looking for. I was hoping for double-sided printing. I can do it, but manually. However, it would've cost me a fair bit more than $199.99 (BB sale) for that feature. A white unit would've been great, too, but...

I LOVE the fact that it takes the ink bottles and not cartridges. I had an HP printer with cartridges before. A LOT of expense and annoyance.
The set-up and engineering of the unit is quite impressive. You really can't mess anything up. You can opt to have that process on your phone and it walks you through the steps.
Quite impressed with this unit, so far.

Je ne l'ai pas utilisé beaucoup jusqu'à maintenant, quelques feuilles lettres et quelques photos 4X6po, je suis très satisfait de la qualité d'impression.
Il y a un problème que je n'ai pas réussi à résoudre, il y a une erreur avec le papier photo, je dois faire un changement manuellement sur le clavier de l'imprimante, pourtant sur le site de CANON c'est supposé qu'un détecteur de type de papier devrait faire ça et que si ça donne une erreur les instructions sont de faire manuellement le changement, C'EST DÉSOLANT !!!!
