not compatible with previous flip3 connect

The device is high quality, like all jbl, however I thought it would be possible to connect our with my previous flip 3.
Same brand but incompatible? Bummer

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, you cannot pair the FLIP 4 and the FLIP 3 via JBL Connect since the FLIP 4 already has the JBL Connect+ feature while the FLIP 3 only has JBL Connect. They will not match. At the moment, only the PULSE 3 is compatible with the FLIP 4.

Two is better than one? Why not!? Really only buying another one to play around with the linked/connect/stereo mode

It's a great mini speaker !! Listen to a lot of reviews before picking this brand and I'm happy with it.. it's great I use it for work I'm on construction sites most of the time and the guys love it.. hope I don't run into any issues like others have in some of the reviews . But so far I'm a happy customer . I would of given this items 5 stars if I would of been able to turn on and off from my iPhone would be awesome .. maybe I'm thinking to far in advance maybe next time for that technology. But it's a great tool in my tool bag...

A bit frustrated

Like the sound, convenience etc. but I find the documentation lacking i.e. Do I charge before I turn it on? How do I pair to my devices. Quick start shows pictures I prefer written details. Web site just copy quick start no additional info for someone older than 40.

awesome portable speaker

well here is what i think
i got the first one i felt in love with it, like it so much that i went and got my wife one, however the connect plus feature it has not work all that well, when i use the connect plus it make Both speaker cut in and out, can't even take my phone 4 ft away it start cutting in and out when use separately the range is awesome, hope they can fix with an firmware update, if there is anybody with suggestion they will be greatly appreciated

Great Bluetooth Speaker!

Ive had this speaker for a few months now and absolutely love it. After my recent experience at the beach with this speaker, I have felt compelled to share my experience and rate this speaker top notch. While vacationing at the beach this last week we had our JBL Flip 4 floating on a raft in the ocean in about 5 feet of water. A large wave knocked the speaker off the raft and into the ocean. After about 30 minutes of searching for this speaker in the area we lost it we began to lose hope and essentially counted it as a lost cause. Roughly an hour after being submerged in shoulder deep water I actually stepped on something that felt odd. I retrieved what I had stepped on and it was our speaker. I thought for sure after being submerged for that long it was a goner. I carried it up to the beach where we had our shade canopy and hung it up to dry. A couple hours later my wife powered it on and connected my phone to it and it performed like nothing happened, and it continued to play for the rest of the day. I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone and for its size its quite loud and sounds great. Great product!

I can't turn on :(

I bought this month ago. I used that perfect but now it doesn't work. when I plug to charge in 10 seconds points lights on and then IT DOESN'T WORK! Are there any reset button or what can i do ????
