I've had this speaker for 3 years so far and I haven't experienced any problems with the physical speaker and only problems with myself actually taking care of it
Last year I took my speaker to my ex boyfriends soccer game and sadly, he got a very bd injury in his knee which resulted in him going to the hospital I had to gather my things quickly which included my McDonalds happy meal which I had throw my speaker in bc of the rush I was in. A couple hours later when I finally ot home there was sauce and chocolate milk all over the speaker which caused discoloring on the teal material. I washed it off and it was good as new :)
two weeks later I went paddle boarding with my cousin I brought my speaker and tied it to the strings of the board. I didn't drop it in the water until it was time to get onto the dock which I had to untie. It rolled off my board while playing love galore by sea ft travis Scott. I started freaking out as I'm not a strong swimmer and I can't hold my breath for long. I dived into the water looking for my speaker blindy which took 10 minutes since it got buried by sand. I eventually found it and pulled it out and it was playing obsesion by aventura with sand stuck in all the sides of the speaker. I washed the sand off and it still worked perfectly. THANK YOU SO MUCH JBL.

i’ve had my jbl flip 4 for a year and after full charge it dies in an hour when it used to last for many hours
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great sound. Plus it fits in my bicycle cup holder so makes bike rides fun and safer (no ear buds!)
