Not usable as PC speaker, very noisy startup

I own the Flip 4 for about 6 month and get increasingly frustrated with the pointless startup sound which is just LOUD. As a PC speaker it's not really useful as it turns to standby after a few minutes without input. On/Off button too deep - difficult to press. Otherwise sound is good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If it were not for the extremely high decibel start up sound I would give it a 5. Scares babies, family, neighbors and pets. Somebody call OSHA.

Great sound!

I missed listening to music simply because it interfered with my other family members doing other activities in the same room. I bought this unit so I could go anywhere in my home (as well as...anywhere!) and enjoy my music. perfect solution. Perfect size, weight, portability and SOUND!

I bought the JBL Pulse 2 a few years ago and loved it from the start. Since then 2 of my friends bought their own and they enjoy them as well. I decided to buy the Flip 4 for my boyfriend who desperately needed a Bluetooth speaker. I wanted something loud, durable and convenient and the Flip 4 is exactly that! My boyfriend had reservations about its power because of the size but it has far exceeded his expectations and honestly I’m only buying JBL from now :)

I absolutely LOVED my JBL speaker!! I take it everywhere! But after only a year owning it, its started glitching, turning off even though it's fully charged and then making static sounds during the song. It also doesn't keep the charge. I really love it in so bummed it's doing this.

Bought this and when it arrived, smaller that what I expected to be. Good connection to any of the devices I have, loud so... full blast. Good features. Used it for about a week, after one charge, I mean if you don't use it as much so.. longer use, I guess?? But the end of the day, its loud, bluetooth range is far great. Good product, but small like I said when you thought it could be larger
