I SO want to give it 5 stars, but...

It work PERFECTLY when connected to my iPhone... perfect sound, bass, all that! BUT once connected to my MacBook, it was a completely different speaker! It was muffled, no clarity.... almost as if I was listening underwater. But once I disconnected, and went back to my phone... it was perfect again! I googled.... fixed settings in preferences... same thing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The JBL Flip 4 is the most user-friendly Bluetooth speaker I’ve used to date. Its no fuss connectivity is what I expect out of a portable wireless speaker. Although I haven’t had it for long, the battery life holds up for a few days with normal on/off use. It was actually shocking to find out just how loud this compact “boom box” is. I connected my phone to it and had the volume around 50% and this thing was shaking my wobbly kitchen table! And the bass on this thing makes everything sound rich and full. Hands down the best tech purchase of the last half of the year. I can’t wait to get a second Flip speaker so I can pair these audio cannons up!

This is the second one I have purchased. I originally purchased the unit for myself to listen to SiriusXM in our backyard while paired to my iPhone. It has since been on multiple beach and other small vacations trips by my kids. I decided to get another one for my son who borrows it the most for xMas.
