It started out AMAZING, now....

I bought this 2 years ago as a gift and it was great for 18 months. Now we can't get it to hold a charge AT ALL. Full charge only gets us through one or two songs max. Really disappointed in the battery life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for a year and 3 months, then broke

I got this as a Christmas gift last year, loved the sound quality, portability, look, etc. Then it started randomly turning off even though fully charged, then unable to pair with devices. Last week starting having a cracking and popping sound like one of the speakers was blown. Now, unusable. Warranty expires after 1 year. Great while it lasted, but won't replace with another JBL.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

“Waterproof”?

I don’t know if it’s just my speaker that malfunctioned, but I submerged my flip 4 into a pool for about 20 seconds not even a foot deep and by the time I took it out of the water he was randomly turning off and on as if it was glitching out. After about an hour of turning off and on it finally just stopped working... waterproof, will update if I get a new one that is actually waterproof

I got it for Christmas and it’s the 2nd one I have had and I use it almost every day and I have dropped it off the roof and it’s still works awesomely

Absolutely amazing

I love this speaker, takinging it with me to each trip and listen music I like instead watching TV in hotels always. Sound is very high quality but you need to find good stable place to put it on.

Problems less than one year of ownership.

This speaker is terrible due to the fact that the battery already failed less than one year of use. This speaker is lightly used and has to stay plugged in to even work. I experienced the well-known "crackling" sound that other users were experiencing. There was a recent firmware update to help with the "crackle" sound, but that didn't help. Definitely not the quality I expected for the price of this speaker. Recently bought another branded speaker, glad I did. I think I'm done with JBL portable speakers now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great little speaker. I am not a true musician, so my opinion may not count to many, but I really enjoy the listening experience provided by the Flip 4. I can take it anywhere I am working and get clear sound
