Over powered amplifier

The amplifier in this speaker makes the speakers get hot And I almost burned myself

my speaker is fairly new and ive had it for a few months now, but so far the battery life is amazing and lasts over a week when I use the speaker every day. if you are looking for a portable speaker, the flip 4 is the perfect size. also the sound quality is super good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have to say I was in love with this speaker especially the color but I don’t use it often and now the battery life only lasts 15 minutes on a full charged battery only after a year of purchase, not the best quality but it’s cute.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

RCA plug to headphone jack=tv sound bar

We use this flip 4 speaker as a sound bar underneath the tv. As the Westinghouse old hdtv had the absolute worst tinny sound... no bass no mids only highs. On low, the sound really travelled and annoyed others at night. It was the worst as the person sitting closest to the tv couldn’t hear & the sound got amplified down the hallway & was louder further away (hardwood floors) disturbing roommates like an optical illusion for sound. Solution: RCA plug to headphones jack into this flip 4 & everyone is happy! Such an amazing sounding little speaker. Love the sound so much that I want to get a few more. JBL, the headphone jack is extremely important to include in all future products, please keep.

Dies within minutes of use

My JBL 4 has great sound, but for the past year or more it dies within 10 - 15 minutes of use. The bass becomes a heavy buzzing sound any time it reaches over half volume then it dies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The speaker was working great for a few months and then would repeatedly turn off after online about 30 seconds of playing music. I ensured that it was charged and still experienced the same issues. Not sure what to do now, is the speaker just done?

Super sound quality for a little package

I bought this to use while driving for work, as the radios in our vehicles may or may not work. Also, while driving long distances, my radio stations drop. I am pairing this to my iPhone 8 Plus via BlueTooth and then streaming iHeartRadio to it, so I don't have to change channels all the time. It pairs well and has super sound quality. Another deciding factor was the battery life - WOW! Perfect for long distance drives. This was reconditioned, but works just like brand new and came with all the amenities for charging, etc., as a new one would too.
I would recommend this to a friend!
