Great Sound

I bought it a few weeks and love it- I did the best comparison I could and I believe I was right- The Flip 4 was the best deal not only for the price but also quality. The size is perfect for me and it's waterproof!

AMAZING PRODUCT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going to one of the top bluetooth speaker in this category. Loaded with excellent features bass and sound. I was amazed with the volume and bass as it was competing with my sound bar and premium speakers.
The battery life, build and quality are excellent. I am truly in awe with these speakers.
I am really excited about the feature that it connects it to other FLIP 4(upto 100). Now I can place them in different rooms and play the same music in different rooms. As usual JBL never disappoints and comes up with an awesome product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hands down the best quality speaker in its class

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spent some time comparing this speaker with some of its competition and what I found was nothing short of astounding. First up, I compared this to the UE Boom 2 and simply put, the Flip 4 blew it away. With far better dynamics and detail, the Flip 4 stood out in a blind test. Retailing for at least $50 less than the Boom 2, the Flip 4 is the obvious choice. Next up I compared it to the Bose Soundlink Mini. While the more expensive Bose offered more bottom end than the Flip 4, here again the dynamics and the detail that the Flip 4 produced outshined the Bose. The Bose retails for about $100 more. Last up for comparison was the Harmon/Kardon Esquire 2. The Esquire 2 also has a much higher retail price coming in at about $100 more than the Flip 4. In my mind the E2 is probably the best portable Bluetooth speaker available, so putting the Flip 4 up against it was, I thought, going to be a blow out. However, the Flip 4 matched it note for note in detail, dynamics and sound quality, only slightly giving some ground in the bass department. The Flip 4 is easily the better value when considering its price tag, waterproof build, and sound quality, the Flip 4 is a serious contender even competing with speakers at or near twice its price.

Charge 3 Replacement?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this speaker for a little over a week as a replacment to my Flip 3, and both of my Charge 3s. I can say this thing is an amazing bang for the buck! Very heavy bass (for the size), shockingly loud (fills up an entire autobody shop without machines running). It sounds crisper than both of the speakers I mentioned prior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my share of portable Bluetooth speakers over the last 10 years or so. Yeah, since 2007! So when I tried the JBL FLIP 4 I honestly did not expect too much over the other premium speakers I own. I was wrong. I have another cylinder 360 shape speaker by another manufacturer that cost TWICE the price. Same features, to a degree, but shaped and marketed the same way. Not even close! The JBL FLIP 4, yes the 4th edition just plain rocks! Hip hop, Dubstep, Rock, and chill wave all sound delicious. Mind blowing clarity, ear splitting loudness, quality materials and workmanship. There's a couple more thing I want to point out in this review that should be noted. This speaker can link up to 100, yes 100, other Flips with the FREE JBL APP. You can essentially place speakers all around the house, or pool, party and play in perfect harmony, multiple channel stereo. It is also IPX7 waterproof meaning this FLIP 4 can go for a dunk and NOT be damaged while continuing to work. You can even hose off any dirt while listening to it. It all comes down to this. You are getting more than what you are paying for here. This could sell for double the price and still be a great value. I love watching the little subwoofers moving in and out to the beats! See, hear and feel the difference with the JBL FLIP 4 and you will agree with this review. Get more than you pay for. Just awesome! I love it so much I sold another brand I had to my friend. Lastly, I recommend a case for it too. Got a great hard sided for it that holds the device and charging cable w/adapter. So there you have it...On a scale of 1-10, I am rating this a solid 10! Enjoy!
