Nice speaker in this price range

I bought this as an upgrade to my Flip 2 which had good sound quality but I was not satisfied with the short battery run time. So far the Flip 4 is delivering good, clean sound with decent bass for its small size and the battery life is much better. The clean sound, especially the treble, made me choose this over the Charge 3 which does play louder and with much more bass but I also have a JBL Extreme which is louder still and the base on that is unmatched. The Flip 4 can fit in a jeans pocket. Of course, the Extreme (and the Charge) do not so it fills a need and I am happy with it. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of the Charge. It was a tough choice as it is very powerful for its size with a beast of a battery. My ears preferred the highs on the Flip 4. I will consider a Charge when the next generation comes out.

Amazing Speaker

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend, we take it to the beach every weekend, use it on picnics, and for nights hanging out with friends, and on the boat, the speaker packs a punch and is able to fill a room with incredible sound, perfect for an active lifestyle!

I have a drawer full of wireless speakers, the jbl flip 4 is the best by far in connectivity, sound quality and excellent speakerphone sound

I just bougt it after reading many reviews, and talk about first impressions! Connecting to it was second nature so I never opened the manuals, and the sound that came from it was much better than I anticipated. It looks and feels great and shows good workmanship and materials. The battery comes juiced from the factory, so you can start playing right out of the box! I haven't enjoyed a purchase so much in quite a while. Good job JBL
