What would I do without it?

A friend gave me this unique casserole and I find it's indispensable in my kitchen. I sometimes over-commit to creating too many dishes and sides when we entertain, and the ability to place the pan in the insulating base to finish cooking has helped streamline my workflow and reduce chaos.
The quality of the pan, lid, and base are top-notch, and it's so beautiful that I hate to hide it away in the cabinet.
It's super versatile. While it may look like a saucepan, it's superb for braising chicken and other meats, preventing dryness and finishing the cook gently, even if my timing isn't perfect. It's also great for risotto, rice, vegetables, and soups. Serving using the insulating base protects the table and creates a lovely presentation.
