Very nice vacuum

this fireplace vacuum is very nice. I have used it to vacuum out my wood stove and also my pellet stove. Works great!

Not What I Hoped For

Pretty ineffective at cleaning my fireplace! It clogged from small (dime sized) cinders as well as just tightly packed ashes. I have contacted the manufacturer and they said it won't handle small cinders and thick ashes. They suggested I return it to my seller.

Great Vacuum

My husband used this to clean out the ashes in the fireplace and said the vacuum did a wonderful job. I saw the results and he is correct. He is very happy with the size of the vacuum and the fact its on wheels.

Love this ash vacuum. We use it regularly to clean out our wood stove,as we partially heat with wood in the colder months. We love the way it gets all the ash out of the crevices in the stove and also allows us to clean out the ash pan holder at the bottom of the stove without getting ash all over the hearth. It has great suction and makes the clean-up so much easier. The only improvement that would be great would be if you could design a way to vacuum the hot ashes. That would definitely get a 5 star rating from us.

It is very solid. Did a great job, but after running it for about 10-15 minutes it shut itself off. I waited a few minutes and it started. This was in other reviews, so I did not worry about it.

It is as powerful as my small shop vac but quieter. Very easy to put together. My wife likes the looks and allows it to be kept out in the open (more than she can say about me). The long hose is convenient. A utensil holder would be helpful but I rarely use them.

I recommend this for pellet and or wood stoves.

I use it to clean my pellet stove and I really like it. The hose is a perfect side to get in and around the stove and pipe to clean the sensor. It is relatively quiet and the hose is quite long. Great purchase!!!

I live in the south and we have had a very warm winter. I have only used this two times, since we're using more air conditioning than heat or the fireplace. The two times that I used it, it worked really well. The filter was a bit crimped around the rubber seal, but I straightened it out and it sealed without any issues. There is a nice long hose (and attachments that I haven't used yet) as well as a spare filter. No dust was in the air to settle on anything, so I'm very pleased with it so far.
