I would highly recommend this to any that burns wood

I have had a wood stove for 14 years and never wanted to spend the money on an Ash Vacuum WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG!! Works quietly and effectively.

I have a small fireplace and this vacuum is a beast -- no more brushing out soot to have it float in the air while trying to collect it with a fireplace shovel -- I love it !!!!!!!!!

P&H was running a great sale on the vacuum and the reviews were outstanding so we bit the bullet and bought one. No regrets here! It's powerful and cleans out the fireplace in a matter of seconds. Great cleaner for the fireplace

The vacuum works very well in cleaning up ash and small wood debris. We tried using other vacuums - after the ashes cooled - but they would get clogged up.This vacuum also keeps the ashes from flying around. The only con - which is why I am giving this a 4 and not a 5 - is the noise - this vacuum is noisy to the point that ear protection may be needed.
