It’s wonderfully fun to build. The detail and design are engaging. I highly recommend it. If you’re just discovering the Icon/modular builds or long time builder, this set is awesome
and will be a fun block in your lego town.

Best Modular

Currently I have 3 modular set and this one is my favorite. The Italian restaurant section of the set uses a fairly rare part color that compliments the dark red of the club. The Italian restaurant is a bit small but is packed with nice details.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun, with unique elements; lacks quality control

This is the second modular building I have purchased and built, the first being Assembly Square. That one was obviously a league of its own, but I am glad I followed up with the Jazz Club. I did appreciate the special architectural flourishes, such as the attention to detail on the façade and rooftop. The small greenhouse is really cute too. I liked the 45-degree angles on the first and second floor; I really wasn't expecting something like that, but it was executed rather well and added a special depth to the build. The minifigures are also unique and fun, especially the musician that can carry the bass guitar case on his back.
Like many others, I too had missing pieces from bag 12 for the final two steps that ended up being in bag 13. Unfortunately, I did not check the next bag and requested the missing pieces online. They arrived almost two weeks later, and then I finally was able to continue building. Given that this is a premium product at a premium price from a premium brand, this is unacceptable. C'mon Lego, it is clear so many people are having this problem, so why not indicate that somewhere? If someone is ordering those specific pieces, why not tell them to just check the next bag? It was such a bummer to wait two weeks to finish the build and then realize I didn't even need to wait; the pieces were there the whole time.

Great set but horrendous part quality

Recently, I bought The Jazz club modular so I could add it to my modular collection. The set was a great build overall and used plenty of new and interesting techniques but the quality of the pieces are horrible. Every single tile in the set had sprue marks on the sides of them and they make the build look so ugly and I even got a couple of 1x2 vented slope pieces that were so off center that they had trouble connecting to a plate when another piece was connected to an adjacent stud on the plate.
Overall the build is great but the piece quality is the horrendous. The worst thing is that all of the sets I have ordered from them in the past couple of years have pieces like that even though the prices of sets have been rising. I’ve even compared them to tiles molded 5 years ago and prior and the older pieces are of better quality than they are now. Please fix this Lego!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun and Colorful

I bought this set because I knew it has several unique features. Not only, but that it's colorful too! I had fun building this. However, I found out that some of the pieces that were supposed to be in bag 12 ended up being in bag 13 and I was very confused at first. Lego needs to warm their viewers about that.

Great Modular Build

This modular building is a lot larger than I expected. The details are amazing and the minifigs are cute. Snag in the instructions:T he last steps of bag 12 were in in bag 13. This needs to be corrected in the manual or have the contents of bags 12 and 13 "in sync" with the directions. At the very least,include a note that explains that the missing pieces are in another bag. All that aside this is one of the best modulars I've built.

What a fun build with lots of detail and color. Tiny details like the under stairs restroom, the tailor sign and fabric bolts, the phonograph in the club office…plus a storage shelf in the pizzeria!
