This build was intense, but fun. There are compartments you build and place treasure in, never to be seen again. It's a hidden treasure only you, the builder, knows about... unless you decide to share. I really enjoyed the progression of the build, and the dragon was a nice midpoint break. I am very pleased with the end product.
Building Gringotts Wizarding Bank was a blast! There were so many little hidden gems in this build, I was totally amazed. The detail that the designers put into creating this model was mind blowing. I loved the explanation as we went through and saw some of the gems come to life, and then found them again throughout the build with additional explanation. It just tied the whole experience together. I highly recommend this build for any hobbyist, any Harry Potter fans, or just anyone that wants to spend a few, well quite a few, afternoons putting this very enjoyable piece together. And, it fits in perfectly with Diagon Alley! Great bonus!
Here’s one for the books. Takes a few days, but totally worth it. It looks awesome. The dragon is extremely detailed. The wings have joints so they fold in and out! Also the cart rolls down the track. How cool is that? There are lots of Easter eggs and shout outs to multiple movies, so the nostalgia factor is there
This set is such a fantastic build, the designers did a wonderful job packing so much detail in from the movies and previous HW Lego sets. It is a beast of a set when fully complete. My one and only complaint would be the amount of stickers used as I felt for the price point printed bricks were much more warranted. But all in all I wouldn't hesitate to buy and build this set.
The build was unique, took some patience, but showcased the design team’s creativity. And the whole time, I was anticipating how it would look next to Diagon Alley.
