I have all three sets and now building this fourth. So far I truly enjoy the 6,000+ pieces, but have found a couple of instances were pieces stay loose, held by only one knob. I always enjoyed the sturdiness of Lego sets, particularly Technic vehicles, and that all pieces fit securely and without any possible movement, except when designed for it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok, let me just start off by saying this is by far the best Lego set ever made! Previously, my favorite set was the Ninjago City Gardens. I own all four Ninjago City sets, and if you couldn't already tell, I am a huge Lego Ninjago fan. As soon as this set was revealed, I knew I had to get it! This set has so many awesome buildings. My personal favorite has got to be Laughy's. I love the little detail of the pool table and the jukebox off to the side is really cute. Additionally, here are a few of my favorite details: One has to be the working toilet! It is a bit gross, but honestly pretty funny! I never in a million years thought Lego would go and put an actual toilet in one of their sets. But then again, where did the citizens of Ninjago City go to the bathroom before this set? Another thing I love is the working cable car! It is an amazing feature and now Ninjago citizens can get up to the higher levels faster. Let me stop there, because if I wrote everything I like about this set it would go for miles. Finally, let's talk about how the set connects to the other Ninjago City sets. The transition from the City to the Markets is really great, and same with the Markets to the Docks. All and all, this is an amazing set and I would recommend it to anyone!

I found this to be a disappointing experience all around. From glaring errors in the manual early on in the build to multiple missing pieces, the build experience wasn’t great. And for the price, there’s a lot of empty space in the set and interiors have minimal details. When I finished it, my first thought was “That’s it?” It doesn’t compare to the level of details found in the other Ninjago City sets. Get the Gardens set if you don’t have it already. It’s a much more enjoyable build and much better value for your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compared to the original ninjago city and docks this set seems to be mini builds that are a bit more less stable. Like bricklink builds
