I bought this set an hour or so after release more so for the set than the GWP. It was an absolutely awesome build and I loved the final product. Overall I am very happy with the model and look forward to other historical builds.

This set is awesome. I got it because I really wanted a Lego ship set and the history behind it is really cool. This was a popular set and I was able to order about 30 minutes after it went live. If you weren’t on the site when it went live then you missed your chance!

I really like the set. Hopefully Lego will realize that ships like these can sell well and we can get more of them. All of the negative reviews are about not getting the gift set. Ridiculous people complain about not getting a free set. All they want to do is resell the thing and could care less about the actual set. Call Lego they’ll throw you some vip points I’m sure

Enjoyable build. Wonderful display worthy model. A larger more detailed model would have been appreciated but the scale fits. The lifeboat was a wonderful free gift I was lucky enough to receive. I stayed up to midnight for my chance at the free gifts despite having a 28 month old son who drains the ever living life from me. It was a struggle but one that was well worth it.

If you were to go on the 1 star reviews for this set, you will find nothing but a bunch of adults crying because they didn’t get a GWP lifeboat. Perhaps the funniest thing I’ve seen, especially since I got the Lifeboat.

GWP Debacle

I was going to purchase this set and was online less than an hour of release. The GWP was gone. I waited excitedly for this set. To those that tell us to "get over it" about missing the GWP, you are just trying to rub it in that you got it and we didn't. You would be here upset if you hadn't gotten it. Lego really messed up this launch! Having sold out in less than an hour is ridiculous.

I have been a LEGO collector for many years. Few sets have excited me as much as The Endurance did. I would consider it to be on the same level technique-wise as its cousin The Titanic. There are several repetitive processes and rigging the sails is a challenge at certain points, but it added even more satisfaction to seeing the finished product. 10/10 would buy it again and have recommended it to my entire friend group.
