Not only a beautiful set that intrigues the imagination, but also brings to life the story of an amazingly documented failed expedition. I’d love to have one more set to this series that includes the crew, the wildlife they encountered, the dog sled teams, their tents, and the steam ship that rescued the remaining crew after being trapped on the desolate continent for over two years!

This is a gorgeous set, incredibly detailed and a beautiful display piece. The build itself was more fun than I expected, given the required symmetry between of a ship. Only complaint is I wish there was more interior space.
I was lucky to get the lifeboat with Shackleton figure, but the ship is still beautiful without that.

The design of the hull was fantastic. Easy to follow instructions. All parts were there. Didn’t need the Lego tool for anything. Having built the huge Titanic and 4 of the huge construction kits, all have been great. Can’t wait for the next big kit

I wish I had time to build this and a place to put it. I don’t know much about the story of this ship and its crew, but this has inspired me to look into its history. The ship itself looks amazing and I managed to get the GWP lifeboat, which also looks amazing. It’s nice to have minifigures for the set. I’ll have to live vicariously through others who have bought and built this set, until such time I can build it myself.
