The Lego Endurance 10335 is a stunning display piece doing justice to the original ship sailed by Sir Ernest Shackleton in his epic journey and survival. And while I completed the build (see photo attached), it was more than a challenging one IMO. Much too delicate, fragile, and complicated with the hordes of small pieces required in many steps that are prone to misalignment and the occasional tear-down and rebuild. And I say this with some experience with the Titanic, Grand Piano, Jazz Quartet, Concorde and other adult-themed sets.
I’m sure most Lego enthusiasts who thrive, flourish, and fully enjoy themselves in the well-deserved Lego community build environment will disagree with me. And while I too greatly enjoy my Lego experience, this particular build simply had its share of frustrating side steps for me personally.
Would I recommend the Endurance? Absolutely. It’s an exemplary display piece and when things go right, an enjoyable build experience. But I say this with the one caveat that some may find it a somewhat challenging build experience. But when all is said and done, the end result can prove to be well worth the effort.

A beautiful model, hard to believe it is LEGO. One of my all time favorite LEGO display piece. Building was interesting, with some very clever steps. Absolutely love this model, well done LEGO!

Awesome set for a great historical moment in antarctic exploration. Only issue is not being able to purchase the accompanying life boat that should have been part of the set. Set feels incomplete without the option to purchase.
