Peace of mind for screen time and audio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Myfirst Carebuds Link W1 on-ear headphones in exchange for my honest review, and they have been an absolute game changer in our house.
As a mom, my main concern with kid's headphones is always volume control, so the built in 85pB max volume limit gives me complete peace of mind that their hearing is safe.
The ear cushions are soft and comfy, and the lightweight headband fits perfectly without squeezing too tie.
Since they are wired plug and play, there's zero hassle with bluetooth pairing or keeping the battery charged, just plug them in and go.
The sound quality is great for games, learning apps and shows, and the built in mic works clearly for interactive activities.

Nice Features, but Not the Most Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The myFirst CareBuds Link W1 headphones are a really pretty mint green color. They are lightweight and fold up nicely for storage. I especially like the braided cord because kids tend to be pretty rough on cords, and they break so easily. The cord also has a built in microphone, which is nice.
These are an on ear style, so they sit directly against the ears rather than around them. My daughter wore them for about 10 minutes before she started complaining that they were hurting her ears.
These also use a regular headphone jack. So many newer devices, including iPhones and iPads, don't even have headphone jacks anymore. I really think they should have included an adapter so they could be used with newer devices without having to purchase one separately.
I do like some of the features, especially the braided cord, but the comfort and lack of an adapter are definitely things that could use improvement.

Wonderful child headphone!

I love the fact that they fold smaller and there is a limit for how loud they can get. There is a built in microphone as well as a play/pause control that is easy to reach! There is no need to charge these they are just a plug and go! These are perfect for travel and have a soft cushion for your child’s ears! My son has needed a new pair of headphones and these came at the perfect time and he’s been loving them!
