Movie theatre feel at home

Bought this on the recommendation of a family member and I’m so glad I did. Easy to set up and integrate with our google home. Sets the mood for movie night or just to give off appealing ambient lighting.

Only has a single power plug for the 2 lights.

I was intending to place these on opposite corners of the room, however the single plug makes that impossible. A second plug can be purchased for an additional $30

Useless without the Bridge

Thought I was getting stand alone lights, but I found out the hard way that these need the Bridge to function properly or else you will spend $150 dollars on two white lights. Kinda pathetic if you ask me. Hopefully this helps others from the gigantic disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth the Price

Honestly all the other smart lights I’ve bought, when you turn the brightness down to 1% using the colours. For some reason the colours change.
What I love about this is that when I turn the brightness down the colours stay the same but dimmed.
Worth the money for setting the mode exactly how I like.
With probably purchase the bulbs for my lamps in the near future.

I am addicted to Philips Hue. They are beautiful. If your house or apartment is white, you can painted every color in the rainbow with these lights.

MAKE SURE TO GET THE BRIDGE

You need another device to make full use of this item, The Hue bridge will connect to your router and from there you can customize time of when you want your rooms to be lit, the colour, etc. otherwise just plugging it in will produce a bright warm light. Its good tho
