Just received this. Plugged it in our kitchen. Showed it was charging ... for about 10 seconds and then doesn’t charge anymore. Tried it on multiple phones and outlets with the same result. Thought this was too good to be true. Turns out it was! Will be sending this back. With all the social media advertisements, hard to trust things like this that just pop up!
Overall I am glad to have gotten the PowerBug. My iPhone 12 sticks to it just fine and is perfectly positioned for using Paprika in the kitchen. My wife’s iPhone 12 Pro Max doesn’t hold so well. If I put it in portrait mode and place it verrry gingerly, making sure that it’s grabbing before letting go, it will probably stay up. Landscape? Forget it. Still, I like the idea and have decided to try my hand at some woodwork to create a little something that will support her phone on there. Failing that, there’s messing around with 3D printing.
