Fun to build, Crumbles when you play

My kids and I enjoyed building this set, however the base plates (or lack of) make this a very delicate structure that breaks every time we play with it. also the connecting joints of the two separate buildings are weak and break apart every time as well. please update this model with a better base plate and more firm connections as it really is a fun set to play with if not for all the breakage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing set

This set got me back into legos. There are tons of interesting building techniques to keep you interested through the long build. I’m going to be chasing the high of this set for years to come.

Best Lego castle I ever had

Lego just didn't make sets this detailed when I was a kid. At the age of 49, I finally got back into Lego. This set was a blast to build. With several Easter eggs and hidden rooms that you wouldn't know about unless you built one adding to the fun. The functional drawbridge, portcullis and gate really add to the excitement. This is really the favorite build my wife and I have done.

I absolutely love this set! My favorite part of my collection! This set is such a detailed set. Very good looking. And a fun set to own. I am constantly finding new details and features that I didn’t see before. The Minifigures are just amazing! Personally would have preferred a king, but the queen is just fine! Thank you Lego for this amazing set! Looking forward to buying the medieval town square to complete the collection!

This Castle was a great build, I work on putting together Lego sets for awhile in the am before starting my day on other projects. So takes awhile to put together and rewarding to finish each room etc as it comes together. Love the detail!
