This was such a fun set to build! So much intricate detail and thought put behind mechanical elements. It's fun showing off the build to people and seeing their reactions to all the small details.

A hair raising concern

The lion knights castle set is one of the best sets in my collection. I build it and tear it down every year and it’s such an enjoyable building experience. My kids love it too.
One important point and it’s in regards to the playability of the set. I was shocked majority of minifigs are bald.
In other words, when their helmets are off we expect to see some hair and only a few have hair. I love the fact that we have a good mix of minifigs but it would really increase the personality of the figs if they came with hair in the future.
Other than that it’s an awesome set!

The best build experience I’ve never seen and the technics have amazed me a lot. The items look much better than the pictures. it is very playability than you would think and better than any of the castle sets before. I change the dinner room to become a throne room and put a king size bed on the 2nd floor. SAVE your money and buy this now!! You will not regret it.

First let us say, this set gives me hope for a King's castle yet to come. As this one is worth every penny I would be glad for one even more grand!
Furthermore, this creation recalls the early castle sets and goes beyond. The Castle sets of the 80's and 90's were a glimpse at some adventure story with shining armor and charging horses. But now, the Lion Knights' Castle does not just tell some fragmentary adventure, it is a playful portal all the way back to another age. Where people lived and celebrated, worked and travelled, and also had some adventures. I cannot wait to further explore the entire world where in the Lion Knights' Castle resides!
