Perfect set

The price is expensive but it is well worth it. This is the best castle lego has ever made by a mile. My favorite part is that each part of the castle has a latter or staircase so the figures can walk around. It comes with a ton of figures, basically a whole army of knights and some town folk too. I keep mine displayed with the back closed but it does look good open too. If I could change only one this about this set, it would be nice if the wizard was more like the old one. This wizard is a little bland compared to the other figures.

Built this with my 11 year old son and had a blast. The play features are awesome. Really good castle set. I hope Lego plans to do more with this series.

This was a blast. I had a castle set as a kid in the 1986 time period. I loved building this set. So much detail. So many minifigs. The attention to Easter Eggs and inventive design of objects was impressive. It looks so cool with the Viking Village, Black Smith, and Medieval Town Square sets. I have loved the nostalgia and modern innovation blends for this set design.

Took almost a year of convincing myself to splurge and go for it. Yes its a big purchase, but it really does look impressive and there is so much play potential. Would recommend to anyone who has ever played with anything lego castle. Its great.
