[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Samsung watches for 10 years, and this is only my third one, since their longevity is excellent. The galaxy watch8 was a great addition to the watch lineup, it charges fast, looks great and is a piece of tech i can't leave the house without. I chose it for its smaller size and it fits comfortably on my wrist through the whole day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a long time Samsung user. Having their watches isnt new to me. I upgraded from the watch 5 to i and couldn't be happier! I chose waint and go for the 8 instead of the 7 because by the time I was ready to upgrade, the 8 was scheduled to debut. I kept contemplating the 7 or 8 but, ultimately I made the right choice! I don't miss the physical bevel like I thought I would. It's just as easy and intuitive without. The upgrades are great and having Gemini access is spectacular!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After finally receiving the watch weeks late, I decided to return it. The look of this model is not an improvement over the last, and none of the bands I have for the last model will fit. This new band is very difficult to get on and off. As far as the watch, it seems almost exactly the same as the previous model. Overall, a very disappointing experience. You can do better, Samsung.

Howdy Sara3d3, Thanks for reaching out to share your constructive feedback with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch8. We appreciate your candor as we continue to improve our product line to better align with your needs. The Galaxy Watch8 improves upon its predecessor with a 50% brighter 3,000-nit display, larger batteries (325mAh/435mAh), a thinner cushion shape design with a flat back for better sleep tracking comfort, and new AI-driven health tools like vascular load and antioxidant index monitoring. We understand how frustrated you may feel to not have cross compatibility available when it comes to your previous watch bands. The Galaxy Watch8 Series offers the Dynamic Lug System which has replaced the standard spring bars and pin-style quick release slots. For your convenience, I have linked a few resources to assist you with what you've described to be experiencing. Let us know if you have any questions or if you'd like further assistance by reaching out to Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra

What a disappointment. The watch has gliches in recording sleep and Samsung knows it. I have communicated with their 'agents' and the fix is never reliable. I even let one of the 'agents' access my watch and he said all was good now. WRONG. Also some of the important functions are not usable. You have to have One UI 9.0 for them to work. Watch nor S26+ has it so you can't use the functions that are touted. 9.0 won't be available for my watch or phone until later provided there are no snafu's. I doubt Samsung will read this and I am stuck with a watch whose functions were touted but cannot use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Galaxy watch 8! I chose it for the compatibility with my Galaxy S26 phone but also because I have had 3 other Samsung phones in the past soi already knew they are proven to be the best.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from the galaxy watch 4(44mm) to the galaxy watch 8(44mm). My watch 4 was amazing! I loved all the health features! With the watch just running normal, no power save mode the watch would last 3-4 days on a single charge! Although I do love all the health features on my watch 8, the battery life sucks!! I can't even wear it to bed to track my sleep If I want it to last all day at work(I work 10 hrs shifts, also with the 4) even putting it on after I get ready for work with power save mode it will die before my work day ends. I am super disappointed in this! That alot of money to spend too not even be able to use it like I used my other watch. I really wish I wouldn't have upgraded just for this reason.
