Awesome tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the watch 8 since, it's got great health tracking and pretty good battery life. Very comfortable to wear since since the only time it ever comes off is to charge. Give it a try!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose galaxy because I enjoy being able to access music, phone calls and workouts from my watch. Though I've had several versions previously..I've never been successful in using the "make a fist" feature. I've also struggled with this model to use the "turn your wrist" feature (this has worked better in previous models for me). It's still a bit large and heavy on the wrist. I chose the standard soft plastic wrist band and will try something different in the future as this leaves my wrist feeling sweaty all day long and I frequently like to adjust it.

The "make a fist" feature on the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 is part of Universal Gestures, an accessibility tool that lets you control your watch hands-free. Flexing your hand into a fist acts like a tap or "select" command to open apps or choose highlighted items on the screen.
How the Fist Gesture Works:
* Selecting Items: Making a single fist acts as a select/tap command.
* Opening the Action Menu: Making a fist twice (closing and opening your hand twice in a row) opens the Action menu or wakes up the gesture controls.
* Companion Gestures: It pairs with a pinch (index finger and thumb together) to move forward and a double-pinch to go back.
How to Turn It On:
* Open Settings on your Galaxy Watch8.
* Scroll down and tap Accessibility.
* Look under Interaction and dexterity and select Universal Gestures.
* Toggle the feature On and follow the built-in tutorial to practice the movements.
The Galaxy Watch8 utilizes built-in motion sensors, more specifically the accelerometer and gyroscope, to detect when you lift and turn your arm toward your face, automatically turning on the display screen. There may be several reasons why your feature may not be working properly.
* Your "Raise wrist to wake" feature may not be enabled in your display or the Wearable App preferences.
* Features like Sleep Mode, Bedtime, Good Night, or Theater/Water Lock automatically turn off wrist-waking gestures to avoid accidental light at night.
* Enabling power saver restrictions often limits or disables non-essential motion gestures.
* If the watch does not securely contact your skin or the back sensors are dirty, it fails to recognize that you are wearing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to walk more using my new Galaxy watch 8. Ever since I put this watch on I've been hitting my daily step target. The watch has motivated me so much at work also. While at work I know if I have been busy by watching my steps everyday. This watch allows me to use my debit card which is really convenient. If I happen to forget my wallet at home no big deal I can use the watch to pay using it's tap feature. Messages display which is convenient as well. If I'm driving and get a text I can simply look at my watch and read a quick message. This watch is great. I haven't had a day without it since I purchased it. There are a ton of features I never expected.
