[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose an android watch 8 because I am a diehard Android user you can't pay me to use anything else you won't be upset about this device its a beautiful accessory to an already beautiful person its almost like you can't have 1 without the other watch and flip phone pair ever so pleasantly won't have it any other way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my galaxy 8 watch for my health. It has help me keep better eye on my body weight blood pressure although im disappointed about couple features not working even though it says it should on a 8. But it does not. Could you fix.

Battery is awful

I would give this a much better rating based on the features, but since only one month in the battery began draining with only 12-16 hours of wear with the most minimal settings and features enabled. I have had a fitbit for years that last for a week at a time. I understand fitbit doesn't have LTE, but it is extremely frustrating that is cannot hold a charge for a day. Month 2: watch lasts about 12 hours on power saving mode full time!
Apparently, if you use water lock feature, you basically can void your warranty because they won't fix it.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also have Samsung Care+ as an option which can be added to an eligible device. It's similar to extended warranty and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It may cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. The Galaxy Watch8 40mm model offers a 325mAh battery while the 44mm model offers a 435mAh battery. Both options offer up to 30 hours of use in Always On Display (AOD) mode. Please take a moment to look over, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to see what factors, if any, may be impacting the life of your device. Water Lock mode on your Galaxy Watch8 has been designed to disable the touchscreen and wake-up gestures so water pressure or stray drops do not cause accidental "phantom" inputs. However, turning on Water Lock does not make your watch waterproof or increase its water resistance. The watch is protected against water damage by its built-in physical seals and its 5ATM/IP68 water resistance rating, whether you turn on Water Lock or not. I really do love it when you sleep in it.It will track your sleep patterns as well. Like , I said , the battery life in it is amazing. If you're winning a watch , I suggest you get one from samsung.

A great upgrade from my watch6

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my watch recently because I realized that a lot of the health apps were starting add functions not supported on the Samsung Galaxy Watch6.
While not totally blown away by the new features apps seem to be better supported on the watch8. I would still recommend to those looking for a decent smartwatch.
