Great Health updates and Notification Awareness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My watch has always keep me on feet and my body moving. It could sense whenever I'm sleeping, resting, biking, etc, in which it benefits me so much so I can make a difference towards my body. For example, if I am sitting down or laying down for too long, it notifies me to stretch and be active to keep blood flowing and circulation rotating. The Notification is also instant as well. Whenever I get a call or message, my Watch immediately receives it with no issues. Even as basic as sending my goals, it notifies me quick and makes a summary to my watch.

Amazing for Reduced Screen Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my watch to help reduce my phone usage and to track my sleep and fitness. In only a few days, I've noticed such a difference already. When walking, the Galaxy AI tracks my workout immediately. Since I can see my messages on the watch, it keeps me from always having my phone in my hand and being tempted to doomscroll. The volume on the watch is perfect! I don't even need my phone for Spotify!!
I also love the reminders to get up and move or stretch. I sit for long periods of time due to being at a desk job, so it's nice to have a reminder.

Galaxy Watch 8 - Upgrading from Watch 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my new Galaxy Watch 8 two days ago, upgrading from a Watch 7. I made the switch to the graphite toned metal after having had silver. The watch feels lighter and less clunky. I ordered the athleisure band; the only negative is that it has an extra strap loop that is awkward and useless as it isn't required unless the strap is too long for the wrist. Setting up the watch has been relatively easy. The only issue is having to learn how to best incorporate and use Galaxy AI. I am hoping that Galaxy AI, which is accessed using a long press of the home button to activate Google Assistant aka Gemini AI, will enhance my use of the watch and its applications. I really like the new faces, especially the dynamic digital dashboard type. There are some newer complications/widgets that really enhanced the information one can get at a glance!

Design looks cool, but not robust. A lot of features are similar or same as competitors including UI aspects. Feels a little more dated for what could be offered in this day and age.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
