Don't buy!

This washer causes mold to grow rapid. I have bleached the rubber seal and washer so many times and used multiple suggested cleaners and nothing works. I have never had problems with my old washers so I am sure it is a product flaw. I hate to say this but buyers beware don't waste your money!

Love this machine!

I scraped up money to buy this washer to replace my 25 year old washer and was a little scared because the new technology seems programmed to break down in 5 years....but I am glad I ended up with this machine. It gave me one problem since I've owned it (5+ years) and it was SO easy to fix it myself. I'm a single mom student with no job, so I have to save money when I can and this machine is my baby. Keeping up with laundry is not usually my thing, but this helps so much cuz I can throw so many clothes/towels in one load. Now if I could just end up with a matching dryer, I'd be set! Oh, and I never read the directions, it's easy to figure out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This may tag laundry pair has exceeded my expectations in every way. Very efficient and clothes are clean. The delicate cycle is great.

Had to replace bellow several times....just trashy construction. Had a Maytag before that lasted forever not this one. Quality is not even close to older models.

Im a truck driver an in my job i have a CB radio that has feature that allows me to choose the color of the digital display which is minor, but an important aspect to the purschase in my opinion. The Maytag dryer display is yellow an i like blue or green display. The color of the display is the only part of my Maytag i am not 100% satisfied with.

Do Not Buy This Washer!

We bought this washer in September, 2011. Over the past two years it has periodically ripped clothes. We have tried only washing a few clothes at a time and not washing specific fabrics however this doesn't work. After reading several on-line sites, we believe our clothes are being ripped because of a design flaw in the drum. Maytag has not issued a recall. We will be purchasing a new washer, definitely NOT a Maytag.
