Terrible!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!! Broke in 2 1/2 years

Bought it 2.5 years ago, broke and is out of warranty. Sad that appliances don't last anymore, especially since this microwave was so expensive. I won't be purchasing anymore Maytag appliances.

Poorly designed

I've had it for 5 years. The turntable motor broke 2 years ago. The lightbulb on the underside is all the way towards the back with the socket on the inward side of the compartment, so it's like a contortionist act to change the lightbulb, especially when the bulb breaks off the base and you have to get the base out of the socket. Also, there's no pause button, so if you need to open the door in the middle of cooking, you either have to hit "stop" and lose your time and settings, or just open the door, which I don't like doing.
What were they thinking when they designed this thing????
Now I know what to look for before I buy my next microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wish the exhaust would blow out more instead of up by the cabinets. I had to reverse the blower motor to vent inside.
