Got this almost a week ago on sale for $400 ($80 off) and definitely happy with my purchase.
I am coming from a Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch and this is waaayyy better than that watch was. The software on this is better and not wonky and also you get the latest updates as they come out since this is a Google watch and not a third party manufacturer. The battery life actually lasts all day (6am till 10pm with about 30 percent left) in my testing.
The only downside i see and why i gave it 4/5 stars is the size. Its small for an average males wrist and wish there was a 44/45mm version of this. But i put a Spigen rugged strap/protection on the watch and it made the watch bigger thus looking better on my wrist.
Anyway i definitely recommend this watch especially if you use a Pixel phone like i do.
Being a smart watch fanatic and google pixel 7 pro owner I impulsively bought this watch. But I must confess it was a mistake. Firstly this watch has a very bad battery life. Hardly runs for 24 hours at full charge and minimal usage. Secondly it doesn't have any ECG, BP monitoring feature. Heart rate monitor is also very inconsistent and inferior. I would not recognize investing $500 for an ordinary watch like this. Highly disappointed with Google for putting such a watch in market with overinflated price.
I have the Google Pixel 6 phone (not 6a...not sure if that matters) Out of the box I had issues connecting to the Pixel Watch 2 After hour of updating and getting the watch to finally work I have to say I was disappointed.
The watch feels very cheap for the price it was sold at and the screen size was very small, and I have small wrists to begin with. The health features are not great either because most of them are all tied to Fitbit so after the 6 month free trial of premium you are forced to pay $10/month or $80/year to get all the premium features that you would probably be used to at the end of the trial.
You are better off just getting a Versa 4 for half the price if you are into the whole fitbit eco system
